If I did, I wouldn't have sold it through GC. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I never owned the coin. *** and GC held my 154K+ for 5 months, then charged me interest, and the difference of reselling the half disme. The coin sold for 70K less than I won it for. They auctioned the **** half disme for 14 days. At this point, *** deferred my contact through his 'attorney' who informed me that I had until the end of that day to pay the interest and remaining balance, or the coin was to be re-auctioned. It is now mid-October.To try and resolve this, I said I would pay 1 month's rate of interest (September to October) as I was unaware of any interest incurred prior to that. We go back n' forth and neither side budges. I was never notified I was being charged interest and I'm not going to blindly pay interest without being notified. I get ahold of ***, he states I need to pay interest if I want the coin, I said no. I wasn't notified that I was being charged interest. I needed to know the exact amount I owed for the **** Half disme prior to wiring or selling coins direct (I certainly was NOT going to consign coins after the aforementioned dealing- let alone a similar experience a year prior.) I receive an email from an attorney 9-17-22 stating that I owed GC 28K in interest. I was willing to deal with that and move on in order to get the **** half disme. GC received commissions on the coins twice I get stiffed with a -50K outcome. These coins I consigned were coins I had purchased through GC in previous months. My coins were set to 14 day auction (limited visibility). Typically, auctions on GC run for ***** days. I won a **** Half Disme in PCGS MS64 for 430K.
